After PAUL KANTNER left the band JEFFERSON STARSHIP, under bad feelings, a subsequent lawsuit left the remaining members unable to use the name. JEFFERSON AIRPLANE becomes JEFFERSON STARSHIP becomes STARSHIP. And it gets even more convoluted to this day. CRAIG CHAQUICO is personally suing everyone in the current lineup of JEFFERSON STARSHIP. He would sue the current lineup of STARSHIP, but it's copywrited (I assume).
